We are pleased to announce that we are a proud sponsor of the Second Annual Puck4ACure Hockey Tournament, taking place in Kingston, MA at The Bog on April 26th. We had such a wonderful and meaningful experience participating last year that we knew we had to be a part of this incredible event again. Puck4ACure is especially important because it is the only hockey fundraiser dedicated to benefiting those living with Type 1 Diabetes, a condition that affects millions of individuals and families every day.
Type 1 diabetes impacts approximately 1.6 million people in the United States alone and nearly 9 million people worldwide. Those living with Type 1 diabetes must manage the condition 24/7, making awareness, research, and community support essential. Events like Puck4ACure help bring people together while raising critical funds and visibility for this cause.
Thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, last year’s tournament raised about $10,000, and this year we are hoping to exceed that total and make an even greater impact.
